Make A Change With Short-Term Orthodontics

tooth-colored_fillings_1 | Dr. Jennifer Perkins, DDS

We get a lot of joy from seeing our patients smile. We also are motivated to do whatever we can when a patient asks us for ways to improve their smiles. Many adults want to know how they can straighten their teeth.

We are happy to say that we offer short-term orthodontics at our Huntsville, AL dental office.

Six Months To A New Smile

We are happy that our patients have the option of using Six Month Smiles. As the name implies, this treatment can work in about six months (although individual results can vary by a few months either way). This is a cosmetic-focused form of orthodontic care, which is why it can work so quickly.

How It Works

Like traditional braces, Six Month Smiles uses brackets and wires to move teeth. The brackets are clear, which makes them less noticeable than metal braces. The key difference between this treatment and traditional braces is the focus on moving the teeth in the front of your mouth. Specifically, Six Month Smiles is intended to move the teeth that are the most visible, rather than all of your teeth, so you can enjoy the aesthetic improvements in less time.

What Six Month Smiles Can Do

This treatment has proven to be effective on a number of problems. This includes overbites and underbites, crooked and crowded teeth, and gaps between teeth.
