Invisalign Aligners
Straightening teeth is often a matter of function, not just aesthetics. Placing undue stress on certain parts of the teeth can cause bone loss and tooth mobility, so orthodontic treatment is crucial. Using our state-of-the-art iTero scanner- a digital intraoral scanner that creates a colorized 3D model of your teeth- allows you to avoid messy, old-fashioned impressions. While Invisalign’s clear aligners work to bring your teeth into alignment, you will still be able to enjoy all your favorite foods and beverages without restriction. You can even whiten your teeth during treatment. No messy impressions, no ugly wires, just freedom!

Implants
Implants are titanium replicas of a tooth root which are then topped with a crown, denture, or a full arch bridge once healed. Implants are a versatile option for tooth replacement. On your first appointment, we will evaluate the health of your bone structure and remove teeth if necessary. After extraction, bone grafting may be necessary to optimize the implant site. Once the site has healed, we can place an implant strategically followed by a healing abutment. A crown, bridge, or over-denture can then be fabricated and anchored by the implant. If multiple teeth are missing, a temporary flipper can be made to keep you smiling!

Veneers
Veneers offer an enormous aesthetic upgrade with minimal downtime. Dr. Perkins specializes in prep-less and minimal prep veneers to ensure the longevity and health of your own teeth. Our office partners with a premier dental lab to create a temporary “trial smile” customized for you. This allows you to see-and feel- your new smile before the final veneer seating appointment to ensure it’s the perfect fit for you. Dr. Perkins believes in minimally invasive veneers that highlight your unique smile structure while still giving you the “wow!” factor of a glamorous new look.

Restoration
Small areas of decay can be restored with tooth-colored composite fillings or zirconia crowns. Crowns are the treatment of choice for larger areas of decay where a cusp of the tooth may be compromised. Fractures require a more substantial restoration and may include a root canal. Crowns act as a permanent cast to support a damaged tooth rather than forfeit the tooth. Fillings can be done in a short appointment, often after a cavity has been discovered during a routing hygiene appointment. Crowns have a turnaround time of 2-3 weeks from the appointment for your temporary crown.

IV Sedation
Many patients experience anxiety during dental procedures, so Dr. Perkins became IV sedation certified in 2019 to better meet her patients’ needs. Invasive, complex, and time-consuming procedures like implant placement or extractions can be stressful. While many doctors prescribe oral sedation before an appointment, parenteral IV sedation is safer and easier to monitor your wellbeing during surgery. Dr. Perkins will be in complete control of your care during the procedure, and her team is trained in advanced life support to ensure your peace of mind.

Hygiene
Preventative oral care is vital to the continued health of your smile! Semi-annual hygiene appointments with our wonderful hygienists include a thorough cleaning and polishing, oral cancer screening, x-rays, fluoride varnish, and an exam by Dr. Perkins to discover any potential problems. For patients with implants, we are equipped to clean those as well. Hygiene appointments are the perfect time to discuss your smile goals with our team, whether that be orthodontic treatment with Invisalign, whitening, or veneers.
